The Gay Rights Movement (by RyanJamesYezak)

I see so many people scared to love someone. In most cases, scared to love again. You really need not to be scared of love—loving and being loved. It’s an amazingly beautiful thing when you open up your heart, especially when other people would like it to remain shut.

I just finished watching this documentary on one of the largest “ex-gay” programs in the United States, and the world for that matter, from the perspective of the founders, in whom after 10 years of being professed “ex-gay, married me”, confessed their love for each other and are now speaking out against Exodus International.
An interesting documentary, but put together quite nicely. I’ve been a part of a few Exodus events and what I always saw were repressed, lifeless adults claiming to be “ex-gay”.
I recommend watching it.

I need to make this year all about going places, seeing new things, trying stuff.

I’m pretty excited for a new year.
I can’t say that I didn’t enjoy 2011, but it was definitely emotionally draining and the most ridiculous roller coaster I’ve ever been on thus far.

An old, close friend just told me recently that I don’t care enough about things. Sadly, he’s right. So, 2012, here’s to caring!

You know that thing that happens to your body when you’re about to meet someone first the first time? You suddenly get nervous, slight knott in your stomach, and your heart starts racing.
That’s all.
