Stuck in prejudice

March 17, 2012

About four years ago I met a short, curly-haired girl. Little did I know that she would set such a high standard in my heart. I haven’t been able to find anyone else that compares to her. No one has been able to pull out the best in me like she was able to; no one has been as carefree in life but caring and compassionate toward people as her; no one has lived life as fully in a year as she did in just one week; a moment with her never felt wasted. The prejudice she’s set on my heart has made it near impossible to fall in love with anyone else.

Fear to Love

January 4, 2012

I see so many people scared to love someone. In most cases, scared to love again. You really need not to be scared of love—loving and being loved. It’s an amazingly beautiful thing when you open up your heart, especially when other people would like it to remain shut.

Racing

December 30, 2011

You know that thing that happens to your body when you’re about to meet someone first the first time? You suddenly get nervous, slight knott in your stomach, and your heart starts racing.

That’s all.

Each day

December 27, 2011

I know I’ve said it before, but I truly believe we’re meant to celebrate each day, laughing, enjoying each other’s company, smiling, and being joyful.

Face value

December 22, 2011

I see that I’m much happier when I take things at face value.

I think they more we gain experience in life, learning from mistakes or hurts, we tend to overanalyze or read into a person’s motives. Stop. Give each person a new chance each time you are with them.
